Chesapeake Technology, Inc. is proud to sponsor the 2010 Summer Training Workshop, to be held June 24-25th at the University of Delaware in Newark.
For two days, this workshop will offer attendees in-depth instruction and training on the latest version of Chesapeake’s SonarWiz data acquisition and mosaic system. With a magnitude of new features, this tutorial will be a great opportunity for every user to learn the ins-and-outs of the new SonarWiz 5, released just earlier this year.
This practical class will focus on SonarWiz 5 and the newest features users can utilize to improve their efficiency. Attendees will not only learn the basics of the new software, but also have their project specific questions answered by the experts. They will be asked to bring a laptop and any data they would like to work on with an expert engineer. The limited class size enables a personalized experience and individualized training on real-time acquisition and post-processing data.
With SonarWiz 5, users have the ability to produce high-quality mosaics and share them with anyone having Internet access. It also provides navigation, survey planning, TVG, stacking, band-cut filter, XTF recording and GeoTiff mosaic export. The new GUI in SonarWiz5 makes the software easier and faster to use. The advanced and interactive planning tools lead to efficient and cost effective survey time on the water. The layback manager allows users to set up the desktop as best fit for the job requirements, save it and recall it for later use.
