Operating Instructions
1 & 2 Line Machines
1. Connect blasting cap to galvanometer posts,
green light will indicate live blasting cap.
2. Hook up firing lines to line connectors. Red button-
positive. Blue button- common, negative.
3. Crank generator handle. Green light beside line selector
button will indicate live firing line. Continue to crank
until red light appears.
4. You are now ready for initiating.
5. Fire line (1) or (2). Unfired line discharge capacitor
remains fully charged. By cranking the generator handle
you will verify if remaining line(s) is operating and
capacitor is charged. Fire (second) line (if applicable).
Capacitors do not bleed automatically.
6. By removing handle, capacitors will internally dump
charge in approx. 10 seconds. Handle will unscrew when
it is "jerked" counter-clockwise.
Maintenance
1. Occasional lubrication of threaded portion
of generator handle facilitates rotation and removal.
2. To change galvanometer batteries, remove battery
cover (back of machine) and replace. Check polarity
of batteries. Seal cover with light silicone grease.
Batteries recommended: Silver oxide 392 or equivalent.
