By design, MiniTracs
units are small and rugged, providing the
user with access to confined spaces and harsh
environments. MiniTracs units can be operated
individually or as multiple units. Each unit
is individually powered and can be easily
fitted to a variety of equipment platforms
to suit a wide range of applications. Systems
are available complete with power supply,
controller and tether cable. Because MiniTracs
are independently powered and controlled,
when operated in pairs, the transporter is
easily steerable. A patented clutch mechanism
allows for easy emergency and high speed retrieval
of the MiniTrac crawlers via the tether cable.
Precision machined and incorporating high
quality components, each MiniTracs unit is
fitted with a sealed, oil-filled, geared drive-train
and is capable of submerged operation to a
depth of 100 ft / 30 m.
