Microtracs units
can be operated individually or as multiple units.
Each unit is individually power and can be easily
fitted to a variety of equipment platforms to
suit a wide range of applications including video
inspection, pipe examination, duct inspection,
cleaning and more. Complete systems are available
with power supply, controller and tether cable.
Low Maintenance
Precision machined and incorporating
high quality components, each Microtrac unit is
fitted with a sealed, geared drivetrain and is
capable of submerged operation to a depth of 100
ft /30 m. Microtracs can be fabricated from brass,
aluminum, and stainless steel.
High Performance
Operating on 24 VDC, each Microtrac
unit draws less than 2 amps at maximum load. A
pair of these miniature units can easily carry
in excess of 20 lbs / 8 kg, pull up to 300 ft
/ 90 m of tether cable and operate at speeds up
to 30 ft / 10.5 m per minute. Deep lug, rubber
track belts provide optimal traction on wet or
slippery surfaces.
Compact Size
By design, Microtracs units are
small and rugged, providing the user with access
to confined spaces and harsh environments. When
operated in pairs the Microtrac units are easily
steerable, even in piping and ductwork. In a tripod
assembly (Vertical Crawler) the Microtracs can
travel vertically in 8 to 12 in (20 to 30 cm)
diameter pipe. |
