The CIRCUMSPECTOR system consists
of a compact remote head colour camera mounted
on a unique inline pan & tilt assembly. It's
unique design allows the user to conduct full
360 x 180 degree visual inspection within confined
areas. All pan, tilt, focus and lighting
functions are controlled at the remote operator
console.
Compact Size
The camera, lights, focus and
tilt motor are housed inside a 5 in / 13 cm
long, 1.25 in /3 cm diameter tube. The complete
camera head assembly weighs less than
30oz / 850 g.
Versatile Design
The camera assembly can tilt
through 180 degrees and pan through 360 degrees.
It can be mounted to an extendable pole,
MiniTrac transporter or other mobile robotic
systems. Circumspector can be used to inspect
confined areas in power generating stations
as well as inaccessible areas in petrochemical
and processing facilities.
Low Maintenance
The Camera head assembly is O-ring
sealed and can be washed down after the use.
The housing is anodized aluminum and all fasteners,
sprockets and chain are stainless steel. Built-in
slip clutches are provided in both the pan and
tilt functions to prevent damage to the camera
housing or the object it is inspecting.
